Description
Besan flour is also known as chickpea flour, gram flour, ground garbanzo beans and ground channadal. It is a nutrient-rich gluten-free flour that is safe for those with a gluten intolerance or Celiac Disease. Besan flour has a rich, sweet flavour and is used in batters, and as a binding agent for fritters and flat-breads. Used in foods all over the world, besan flour is high in protein, fibre and resistant starch, and is low on the Glycemic Index.
