Traditional remedies that really do work
Echinacea This herb is highly effective in relieving colds and flus and reducing the severity of symptoms. It will also support your body through times of stress and support your immune system to prevent re-infection. Vitamin C Known for its ability to nip an infection in the bud but also to ease upper respiratory tract infections and restore health quickly. Another great support to your body in times of stress. Cod Liver Oil This traditional remedy may not taste the greatest but goes down a treat in its capsulated form! Cod Liver Oil contains Vitamin A, which maintains the health of epithelial and cilia cells in the body – these are the cells that line the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Maintaining the health of the mucous membranes is of primary importance. It is believed that the underlying mechanism behind respiratory infections, other than an impaired immune system, is an alteration in these cells.Related Articles
