Clinical Trial finds Fish Oil effective for PMS
This trial involved 124 eligible women receiving either a placebo or 2 grams of fish oil per day. The severity of the symptoms was noted before the start of the trial and after 1.5 months and then 3 months of starting the trial for both groups of women. The group that received the fish oil reported greater improvements in the following range of symptoms compared to the placebo group:- Depression
- Anxiety
- Nervousness
- Lack of concentration
- Bloating
- Headache
- Breast tenderness
