Description
Raw nori has a dark, lustrous color and fresh, clean taste. Nori has the highest protein content of any sea vegetable - up to 35%, plus lots of vitamins & minerals. Raw nori is a very special, high quality variety of this most popular Japanese seaweed, perhaps the only vegetable that is actually cultivated in the sea. It is especially nourishing and makes a delicious, handy snack for children, a tasty condiment, a wrapper for rice balls or sushi, or a convenient addition to soups and vegetable dishes. Known as the wrap around sushi, nori is fun to wrap around anything for finger food. Use raw nori to add rich flavor and bright color to any meal. Cut into thin strips, it adds a savory complement served atop cooked grain cereals or miso soup, or mixed into pressed salads.
